One of our most favorite events of the year, designing and installing the plants and flowers for the Rocket Mortgage Classic. This is year 5 for the tournament and we have been there from their very first year in 2019. Follow along on tv and our Instagram stories and Instagram highlight, RMC 2023! Martha’s highlight moment? Creating the floral arrangement for the trophy flowers and watching Rickie Fowler win from the title sponsor’s chalet!

Looking for a last minute getaway? Our recommendation would be to make your way a few hours north to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. One of the current exhibits highlights internationally-recognized artists and their work with living plant material. Rather than using nature as a subject for depiction—as occurs in traditional landscape painting—these artists incorporate and manipulate plant species to help us reflect on the meanings and associations that influence our relationship with the natural world.

After you visit the exhibit, grab a bite in the North End (great for pasta and wine!) and spend the night in Seaport. Enjoy!

We are back for year 7 with Shinola for Mother’s Day!
I am so excited to be back with our friends at Shinola on Canfield for Mother’s Day! Our cute flower shop is popping up at Shinola from Wednesday May 10th to Sunday May 14th, just in time for Mother’s Day (it’s May 14th!). We can’t wait to see you then!

As you know, Made Floral focuses on weddings and events, but this holiday season, we are popping up in our own studio to offer weekly floral deliveries each Friday from November 17 to December 31, 2021! Available for delivery only to select towns in Fairfield County: Darien, Greenwich, Fairfield, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stamford, Westport, and Wilton.

I visited Styer’s Peony Festival last spring and it was so beautiful, I highly recommend buying a ticket if you are in the area. I plan on making two trips to Styer’s this year to buy peonies for my May 22 wedding and for my Flower Workshop on May 27. Go!

Flower Day takes place every year on the Sunday after Mother’s Day and has been a time-honored tradition of Eastern Market since 1967. Growers offer a wide variety of flowers at a great value so we recommend you come early for the best selection! Grab a friend, go early, then make a stop at Anthology Coffee for breakfast.

Made Floral Pop-up is back for a limited time at Shinola. We’ll be there leading up to Mother’s Day weekend! Stop by for market flower bouquets, loose flower stems, and plants. Sunday May 9th is Mother’s Day, so make sure to stop by for flowers to treat all of the moms in your life.
